I've always designed stuff. Colour combinations, shapes, intelligent typography and smart concepts fascinate and inspire me daily.

To me, marketing and branding are naturally connected to graphic design. Before heading into the design business full time I was working as a Marketing Manager for a global conference company in Stockholm. Marketing is always the starting point for me when designing and I consider the brief carefully. Do we want to create brand recognition? Increase the sales of a certain product? Build a new brand identity? How can I make this happen through my design? Successful design is more than just a beautiful surface.

My name is Emma and I have started Emser Design to be able to work with my passion independently. I've just returned to Sweden after spending 1,5 years in Sydney where I sharpened up my design skills at well-renowned Shillington College. I work with Adobe Creative Suite 3 (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), and hand code web sites with html and css.
